About the Role: As the Ecology Manager at Thames Valley Environmental Records Centre (TVERC), you’ll lead our projects team, ensuring successful delivery of both field and data-based projects. You’ll work closely with the Director to achieve TVERC’s goals, providing high-level technical expertise to our organisation and stakeholders.
Salary: £51,515 to £54,702 per annum
Hours: 37 per week (flexible working options available)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 20th October
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Biodiversity Projects team, including Ecological Surveyors and Projects Officers.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to secure and deliver ecological projects.
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and time.
- Adapt and grow TVERC’s products and services to support the changing needs of our customers and communities.
About You:
- Proven experience in winning, planning, and delivering environmental field and data projects.
- Strong understanding of the planning system and project budget management.
- Ability to manage and develop a multi-functional team.
- Advanced user of GIS and Data Analysis software tools.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with team members, stakeholders, and the community
